ESG at Sensa

Better environments for all.

We care about the difference we can make not only for our clients, but also for our communities and the world we share.
Our approach is focused on reducing environmental impact while creating workspaces that support wellbeing.
Sustainability is considered throughout our workplace projects, from the selection of environmentally responsible materials and energy efficient systems to the integration of biophilic design principles and sustainable furniture solutions.
We also support this commitment through a number of environmental initiatives.
Old Furniture Recycling Program
When old workstations are replaced, we carefully disassemble them for reuse and recycling. Metal components are sent to recycling facilities, while timber tops are cut down and stored for future use across suitable projects. This may include repurposing timber within wall construction for joining and insulation support, helping reduce unnecessary waste.
Categorised Waste Management Program
Site waste is sorted by category and sent for appropriate disposal or recycling where possible. A record of each waste category is maintained to support better visibility and accountability throughout the project.
Tree Plantation Program
SensaARC projects are supported by our tree plantation program, which forms part of our broader commitment to environmental responsibility. Through this initiative, we contribute to native biodiversity in Australia and support the regeneration of wildlife habitats affected by bushfires.
Our social contribution is shaped by a simple idea: the way we work should support people, not just projects.
For our team, that means creating a workplace where people feel safe, respected and able to grow. We support employee wellbeing, encourage equal opportunity and work to maintain an inclusive culture where different perspectives are valued.
For our project partners and suppliers, it means expecting fair and responsible working practices across the businesses we engage with. We know that the quality of our work is connected to the quality of the relationships behind it, so we aim to work with people who share our standards around respect, safety and fairness.
For the broader community, it means looking for practical ways to contribute where we can have a meaningful impact. One example is our Cadet Program in partnership with local schools, which introduces students to the commercial interiors and construction industry. The program gives young people exposure to real workplace environments, helping them build confidence, understand career pathways and develop practical skills for the future.
Through these actions, we aim to contribute to a more inclusive, responsible and opportunity rich industry.
Strong governance is central to how we operate as a business.
We maintain clear accountability, transparent decision making and responsible leadership across the organisation. These practices help us protect the long term interests of our shareholders, clients, employees and project partners.
At board and leadership level, we value independence, diverse perspectives and considered oversight. This supports better judgement, stronger discussion and more balanced decision making.
Integrity also guides the way we work with clients, suppliers and stakeholders. We are committed to honest communication, ethical conduct and fair business dealings across every relationship.
Alongside our legal and regulatory obligations, we continue to strengthen the systems, standards and behaviours that build trust in the way we do business.
