Swift Metal

Swift Metal manufactures and supplies critical pipe support components across water infrastructure, minerals, oil & gas, rail, aerospace, defence and more.

Swift was preparing to relocate its Melbourne office to Thomastown. With a growing team and a vision to create a professional yet comfortable environment, Swift engaged Sensa to design and deliver a workspace that reflects their corporate identity, supports their culture, and sets them up for future growth.

  • Location Thomastown, Victoria
  • Industry Manufacturing
  • Size 250 sqm

Discover

Through our discovery process we learned that Swift’s previous office was no longer fit for purpose. It was too small, the lease was ending, and it could not support their long term goals. The relocation provided an opportunity to rethink the workplace. For a regional office of eight staff with expected growth of up to fourteen, the priorities were clear: practicality, professionalism, comfort, and alignment with established brand guidelines.

Design

We designed an open plan office layout tailored to Swift’s working style. Permanent desks with ergonomic seating and height adjustable workstations ensure comfort and efficiency.

We have created a multipurpose dry kitchen/ breakout area as well as a sperate wet kitchen. The overall design integrates Swift’s corporate branding, blending a smart and professional aesthetic with a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

Deliver

With a clear budget and a strong focus on functionality, our goal was to ensure a seamless transition into the new workspace.

Sensa’s construction team carried out the fitout with precision, delivering a defect free transformation that supports Swift’s operations and enhances the employee experience. The end result is a regional office that meets immediate needs while providing room for future growth.
