This state-of-the-art facility is designed to support Victoria’s clean energy transition, offering hands-on training that reflects the latest technologies and methods in environmentally responsible plumbing. To create a functional, future-ready space, the project required a tailored furniture solution that aligned with its sustainability goals and high-performance standards.

The vision was to deliver a purpose-built training facility that could expand capacity and provide leading-edge resources for the next generation of plumbers. This facility would accommodate 300 additional students, combining workshops and classrooms designed for practical learning with sustainable outcomes.

Furniture for this space needed to meet multiple criteria: durability for a high-traffic environment, alignment with the architectural design, and adherence to sustainability principles throughout.

Sensa Interiors was engaged early in the process to ensure every element of the furniture solution supported the project’s objectives. Collaborating closely with Harris HMC and architect Gray Puksand, we developed a tailored approach that matched the design intent and functional requirements.

By sourcing globally and customising finishes, we delivered a cohesive solution that combined performance, comfort, and environmental responsibility within budget and on schedule.

The complete furniture package included:

• Electric, height-adjustable workstations with integrated power and data
• Customised workstation clusters for flexible layouts
• Acoustic felt booths for focused, quiet work
• Personal storage cabinets for practical organisation
• Greenguard certified chairs and stools to support healthy spaces
• European upholstered lounge chairs and timber ottomans for comfort
• American oak veneer tables in both round and rectangular designs
