Sensa Interiors supplied and installed a comprehensive furniture and custom joinery package for Auscool’s new office. Spanning two levels, the workplace brings together open plan workstations, private offices, meeting rooms and breakout spaces, with warm timber textures, contemporary furniture and contrasting finishes creating a polished and welcoming environment.

Auscool required a furniture and joinery solution that would support the different needs of its team while complementing the new office interior.

With two large open plan work areas, a key consideration was introducing separation without compromising the sense of openness. Furniture selections also needed to balance practicality and visual consistency across individual work settings, collaborative spaces and shared facilities.

The reception makes a striking first impression, featuring a sculptural stone look counter with curved detailing set against a full height timber slat feature wall. The natural timber tones contrast with the dark ceiling and surrounding black walls, creating a sophisticated backdrop for Auscool’s branding.

At the heart of the open plan workspace, custom timber batten joinery creates a distinctive architectural feature. The gently curved screening incorporates black planter boxes with greenery, while the continuous timber countertop and dark cabinetry below provide practical storage. The open battens maintain visual connection between the two workstation areas while defining each space.

Sensa supplied and installed furniture throughout both levels, including white workstations with black frames, grey acoustic desk screens and integrated storage. The clean lines and contrasting finishes give the open plan areas a contemporary, organised appearance.

Meeting rooms and the boardroom feature timber grain tables that bring warmth to the spaces. In the breakout area, charcoal high tables complement the light timber kitchenette, while soft cream lounge chairs and a rounded timber coffee table introduce a more relaxed setting near the entrance.

The completed furniture and joinery package brings together considered materials, functional work settings and carefully coordinated detailing, creating a welcoming and practical workplace for the Auscool team.
